Scale Development of Self-Report Brief Cognitive Function

Abstract

|
The purpose of this study is to develop and compare the scale of Self-report Cognitive Function for normal elderly people with dementia patient. Method is, First, the Self-report Cognitive Function scale was developed. Then, we analyzed the validity and factors in a group of 38 normal elderly people and a group of 36 with dementia patient. Factor analysis revealed three factors-Cognitive Jugement(COG), Emotional Control(EMO), Memory(MEM)-and suggested high validity(Crombahc's-?= .922). The goodness of fit index in three-factor model was appear that RMSEA .074, .TLI .803, CFI .818, and the data is suitable for factor structure. Although tests are already being utilized in the clinical scene, there is a need for hemiplegia patients. So the implications of the present study is development of Self-report brief Cognitive Function scale.
